This project tested our abilities as a group to think and design for an educational learning experience. Our goal was to design a space whose target audience was middle school students. This space used a globe to display information as well as a kiosk for further interaction within the exhibition. In our final project, there was a video wall that displayed different UFO sightings as well as a station of different Alien artifacts left behind by our otherworldly friends. The idea was to play with American culture and its relationship to conspiracy theories. We used a purple dot to indicate UFO sightings around the world. The kiosk was placed where the students could interact with the globe, hear first-hand accounts, see the way the news portrays aliens, as well as see how people describe spaceships.
