2024 Grand Rapids Pride Festival – Menu Board Design
I collaborated with the Grand Rapids Pride Center to design a comprehensive set of menu boards for the 2024 Grand Rapids Pride Festival, an annual event that attracts approximately 35,000 attendees to downtown Grand Rapids. Given the high volume of beverage sales at the event, the menus played a crucial role in creating a seamless and enjoyable guest experience. The project involved designing a variety of menu formats to suit different placement needs, including a large 3'x6' banner for high-traffic areas, 31"x47" menu boards placed along the drink lines, and smaller 8.5"x11" menus for individual tables. Each version was designed to reflect the vibrant, playful, and inclusive energy of the event while maintaining clear legibility and ease of use. This project highlights my ability to create scalable design systems, manage multi-format deliverables, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders to bring a high-profile public event to life.
